ABODA DECOR GIVEAWAYS – OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES

THIS CONTEST IS ONLY OPEN TO CANADIAN RESIDENTS (EXCLUDING QUEBEC) AND IS GOVERNED BY CANADIAN LAW AND THE LAWS OF THE PROVINCE OF ONTARIO.
 NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. SEE BELOW FOR FULL CONTEST DETAILS. PARTICIPATION IN THIS CONTEST CONSTITUTES YOUR FULL AND UNCONDITIONAL ACCEPTANCE OF, AND AGREEMENT TO BE LEGALLY BOUND BY, THESE CONTEST RULES.

 

 

1. SPONSOR

All giveaways and contests (each a “Contest”) are sponsored by Aboda Decor, located at 31 Commerce Park Drive, Barrie, ON L4N 8X1 (the “Sponsor”).

 

 

2. ELIGIBILITY

This Contest is open to legal residents of Canada (excluding Quebec) who reside within a 100 km radius of Aboda Decor, Barrie, Ontario, and who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry.

Employees of the Sponsor, its affiliated companies, franchisees, suppliers, advertising and promotional agencies, contest administrators, and those living in the same household are not eligible.

 

 

3. CONTEST PERIOD

Each Contest will run for a limited time, as advertised by the Sponsor (the “Contest Period”). Start and end dates will be posted in the promotional material for the specific Contest.

 

 



4. HOW TO ENTER

Entrants can participate using the entry methods described in the promotional material for each Contest (the “Entry Methods”).

-Entry values (e.g., 1 Entry, 5 Entries) will be specified by the Sponsor for each Contest.

-No purchase is necessary.

-Each entrant may only enter once per method, unless otherwise stated.

-Multiple entries from the same person for the same method will be disqualified.

-From time to time, bonus entries and promotional offers may be advertised in conjunction with a Contest.

-Entrants must remain subscribed to the specified subscription method (e.g., mailing list, newsletter) from the time of entry until the Draw Date or until the winner is officially declared, whichever is later. Failure to remain subscribed will result in disqualification.

 

 

5. WINNER SELECTION

A random draw from all eligible entries will be conducted by a representative of the Sponsor on the advertised draw date (the “Draw Date”). The selected entrant must:

-Correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question;

-Sign and return a Declaration of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release (“Winner Release”);

-Agree to take a photo provided by or in coordination with the Sponsor, for promotional purposes;

-Comply with all Contest Rules.

The selected entrant will be contacted between five (5) and ten (10) business days after the Draw Date via phone and/or email. If the selected entrant cannot be reached or does not respond within 48 hours, up to three attempts will be made. Failure to comply will result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected.

In the event of identity disputes, the entry will be deemed submitted by the Authorized Account Holder of the email address provided.

 

 

6. ODDS OF WINNING

Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received prior to the Contest End Date.

 

 

7. PRIZE

Each Contest prize will be described in the specific promotional material (the “Prize”).

-The Prize must be accepted as awarded.

-The Prize is not transferable, not redeemable for cash, and may not be combined with other promotions or discounts.

-Prize claim deadlines will be posted in each Contest announcement.

 

 

8. OTHER CONDITIONS

The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the Contest without notice, for any reason, including if it becomes compromised in any way. The Sponsor may substitute the Prize with one of equal or greater value if necessary.

By entering, entrants consent to the use of their name, likeness, contact information, and winner photo for contest administration and promotional purposes by the Sponsor without additional compensation, as permitted by law.

This Contest is void where prohibited and is governed exclusively by the laws of Ontario, and the federal laws of Canada as applicable. Any disputes must be resolved in courts located in Barrie, Ontario.

 

 

9. RELEASE AND INDEMNIFICATION

Before being declared the winner, the selected entrant must sign a Winner Release to:

-Confirm compliance with the Contest Rules;

-Accept the Prize as awarded;

-Release and indemnify the Sponsor and its agents, affiliates, employees, and platforms (including Facebook and Instagram) from any claims or liability related to the Contest, participation, prize use or misuse, or any technical or human error.

The Sponsor is not responsible for any technical issues, misdirected entries, or delays that affect entry or winner selection.
